North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited North Korean strategic missile bases on the eve of an inspection. KCNA informs about this. According to the publication, on this trip he was accompanied by the first deputy head of the department of the Central Committee of the CPC, Kim Jong Sik, and the deputy head of the department of the Central Committee of the CPC, Kim Ye Jong, who is also his sister.

Comrade Kim Jong-un checked the readiness for action of strategic deterrence forces, which are directly related to the security of the country, including the function and ability of each element of launch facilities at missile bases, the state of combat duty of strategic missiles

Comrade Kim Jong-un stressed the need to make every effort to further modernize strategic missile bases, turn them into a fortress, and maintain their full readiness for consistent countermeasures

He added that this work will make it possible to immediately launch a strategic counterattack against the opponents in any situation and at any time.

As I have stressed many times in recent days, the threat from the strategic nuclear weapons of the United States to the security of the DPRK is increasing every day, and promising threats also require that we more noticeably strengthen the forces of war deterrence
