Rostec State Corporation and Lomonosov Moscow State University have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of science and education. The document provides for the implementation of joint initiatives and projects aimed at the innovative development of the Corporation's organizations, ensuring national security, import independence and technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation.
The document was signed by Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation, and Viktor Sadovnichy, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Within the framework of the agreement, the parties agreed to jointly participate in the training of highly qualified specialists for the creation of high-tech technologies. The strategic partnership will contribute to the formation of a modern educational environment, including centers for the creation of new technologies, educational and research laboratories and the latest spaces for entrepreneurial activity.
"With the agreement on strategic cooperation and partnership between Moscow State University and Rostec State Corporation, we strengthen our successful cooperation with the largest Corporation in our country. This is especially important in the light of the new edition of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development announced by presidential decree. Our common goal is to strengthen the fundamental basis of national technological sovereignty. The space for joint projects is almost limitless. We will be glad to see Rostec participate in the projects of the Advanced Engineering School, the formation of infrastructure and the content of the scientific and technological valley of Moscow University. I am confident in the great demand for joint research in the field of biology, medicine, physics, and the training of highly qualified specialists for companies and enterprises of the State Corporation," said Academician Viktor Sadovnichy, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Further development of cooperation will allow combining the efforts of science, education and industry for new discoveries and inventions in the most important areas for the country, including in the field of import substitution," said Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation.
One of the leading joint projects is being carried out on the basis of the Advanced Engineering School "Quantum Technologies and High-performance Systems". In 2024, Rostec State Corporation (RT-Techpriemka industrial partner) made its first investments in the Moscow State University. In September, as part of the project, RT-Techpriemka opened a new scientific and educational center at the Faculty of Chemistry. The classroom is equipped with computers with multi-core processors and the latest graphics cards. This will make it possible to train specialists in the field of machine learning, digital design of materials and biochemical systems using innovative solutions in the field of information technology.
The joint plans also include the opening of a Biotech laboratory with in-depth practice-oriented training of schoolchildren in the field of biotechnology. The project will be implemented on the basis of school No. 1529 in Moscow in the interests of the holding companies of the Shvabe Corporation and Natsibio. The laboratory is scheduled to open in mid-December.
Among the new projects is the construction of the Engineering cluster in the Innovative Scientific and Technological Center of Moscow State University Vorobyovy Gory. The site will house scientific and practical laboratories and pilot production in various areas of scientific and technological activity together with industrial partners. Rostec, as a resident of the cluster, will develop innovative projects in the field of information technology, engineering, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and other scientific and technological industries in the new center.
