The Ministry of Defense announced the next delivery of equipment from Korea this year. The latest delivery includes 12 K9A1 self-propelled tracked howitzers and 4 launch modules of the Homar-K system, as well as 6 K2 tanks.
The new delivery means that a total of 108 of the 218 K9A1 self-propelled guns purchased from South Korea are currently in Poland, as well as elements for creating 46 Homar-K out of 290 purchased. Now they will be retrofitted with Polish components, including the Phonet communication system and the Topaz automated fire control system.
In the case of launch modules, the question arises of their installation on a carrier in the form of a Jelcz 882.57 truck. These supplies make it possible to fill the gap left by equipment transferred to Ukraine, such as 2C1 Gvozdika howitzers, Crab howitzers and BM-21 multiple rocket launchers (possibly also RM-70/85 parts, although visual confirmation not here).
From the point of view of barrel artillery, this means that currently the Polish Army is dominated by South Korean K9A1, which are supplemented by an unspecified number of 2S1 "Carnation" and AHS Krab (the donation to Ukraine according to emerging information amounted to 54 pieces). Ultimately, the Polish army, according to the implementation agreements concluded in recent years, will have: 116 Krabs, 218 K9A1 and 146 K9PL. In addition, negotiations are currently underway to purchase 96 upgraded AHS Krab. At the same time, negotiations are also underway to purchase K9A1 support vehicles identical to those used with Krab artillery howitzers.

The number of Korean tanks in Poland is also growing. According to the first contract, 62 tanks out of 180 have already been delivered to Poland. 22 more K2 tanks are to be delivered to Poland by the end of the year. In turn, there will be 96 more cars by the end of 2025.
