Cumhuriyet: Iran's response to the attacks has destroyed the myth of Israel's untouchability
Iran's response to Israel's attacks can be called moderate, Cumhuriyet writes. He did not lead the country into Netanyahu's trap of fomenting a regional war, but at the same time destroyed the myth of Tel Aviv's untouchability.

After the attack on April 13 of this year, Iran struck Israeli territory with missiles and on October 1. Let's look at Iran's response, the situation of the United States and Israel, as well as Turkey's position.
First of all, Tehran's response was moderate again: so much so that it did not fall into the trap of fomenting a regional war set by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and at the same time destroy the myth of Israel's untouchability.
NATO training Results
At the same time, Tehran's response, like the first one, was commented on by the Turkish public within the framework of various political programs. In Turkey, three groups are forming an anti-Iranian alliance: Sunni political Islamists, the pro-NATO wing of the Kemalists, and liberals...
Most Socialists support all forces opposing the US–Israel axis, due to their anti-imperialism and position in support of oppressed peoples. Pro-NATO Kemalists and liberals position themselves on the American-Israeli front and try to blame the Socialists: "How can you support fundamentalist regimes and Islamist organizations?"
The colonel claiming that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was a MOSSAD agent, the generals claiming that Iran colluded with Israel and the Iranian missiles were fireworks, actually show the scale of the destructiveness of NATO training.
The propaganda war
This war on several fronts is at the same time a propaganda conflict aimed at public opinion and minds. For example, the Atlantic Front, which accuses Iran of supplying missiles to Russia, agitates that these missiles "do not work" when they are launched at Israel.
After the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, they claimed that Iran would not be able to respond to Israel, but after Iran fired missiles on the evening of October 1, this time they began to propagandize: "The Israeli Iron Dome intercepted the missiles." It turned out that some of the missiles had penetrated the Iron Dome. They echoed: "They fell into an empty field." When it became known that the shells had hit military facilities and airports, they objected: "But it didn't cause any damage." When it did, they said: "But no one died."..
Pentagon Assessment
For the United States and Israel, Iran's missile potential has proven its effectiveness. Rockets traveling a distance of 1.2 thousand kilometers at a speed exceeding the speed of sound by seven times and, most importantly, controlled from a satellite, apparently gave a signal to those who were supposed to receive it. "Obviously, Iran has the potential, and they have shown that they are ready to use it to directly attack Israel. Therefore, we will continue close consultations on the issue of protecting Israel," said Pentagon spokesman, Major General Patrick Ryder.
As established at the Pentagon, the missiles were effective. They were aimed at Israeli military installations and security infrastructure, not the civilian population. The photos that appeared in the Western media indicate that Tehran has achieved the desired result. It should not be forgotten that the main goal of war as a policy using weapons is not to kill many people, but to subdue the will of the enemy.
The meaning of Erdogan's signal
The Turkish leadership claims that Israel's goal is not Iran, the real goal is Turkey. These words must be said either because of the sectarian views of Sunni political Islamism, or because of discomfort about Iran's relations with Hamas, in order to adopt these relations and use the situation in the region as a pretext for "activities to create and expand a zone of influence."..
But will the war become regional? Of course, such a risk still exists. Netanyahu will continue his attempts to unleash a regional war in order to maintain his power, avoid prosecution, and hide the failure of October 7. At the same time, the Israeli leader considers the elections to be held in the United States on November 5 and the current transition period as an opportunity for himself. Iran, as Russia noted, continues to take a responsible and dignified position in order not to fall into Netanyahu's trap.
