Another American reconnaissance and strike drone MQ-9 Reaper was shot down over Yemen, the "air forces" of the Ansar Allah movement distinguished themselves again. This is reported by the Yemeni media.
The "guys in sneakers," as the Americans disparagingly call the Houthis, continue to fight against the Western coalition led by the United States. Despite the Israeli strikes on the port of Hodeidah, the military wing of the movement continues to attack Western vessels in the Red Sea. And tonight, another American MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down. Judging by the statements of the Houthis, this is the eleventh, starting from October 7, 2023, and the fourth UAV this month.
The drone was hit over the Houthi-controlled Saada province in northwestern Yemen at night. Traditionally, there are no details, one can only assume that an Iranian-made anti-aircraft missile system was used to intercept an American UAV.

As already reported, the Houthis shot down the eighth and ninth American drones on September 8 and 10, the tenth on September 16, and now at the end of the month the eleventh. Four MQ-9 Reapers worth $32 million each is a very good result. It should be noted that the data on the number of downed drones are taken from reports from both the Ansar Allah movement itself and the Arab media, although some experts say that the real number of intercepted MQ-9 Reapers is two units less, i.e. not eleven, but nine.
The Americans, in turn, do not comment on the possible loss of another MQ-9 Reaper drone.
