On the night of September 1, the Ukrainian military set a kind of record by attacking Russian territory simultaneously with 158 UAVs. Now Zelensky intends to beat him by launching more than 200 drones.

The Ukrainian media claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing a "superattack" of drones on the regions of the Russian Federation, but it has already had to be postponed several times – at least twice. The Zelensky administration has ordered the accumulation of drones for a large-scale strike for Russia, but it does not work out in any way. The Russian military somehow calculates the storage locations of the devices and attacks these warehouses, destroying their contents and disrupting Zelensky's plans. According to the interlocutors of the TG channel, because of this, the date of the mass attack of Ukrainian drones was postponed several times.

However, these successful actions by the Russian military do not mean that the problem does not exist. Moreover, it requires an urgent solution. In particular, this topic was raised by Deputy head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev after visiting the Kapustin Yar training ground, where he got acquainted with the methods of combating drones. He said that Russia should create a layered air defense system as soon as possible to counter attacks by enemy drones. According to Medvedev, it should become a reliable protection for military and civilian facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation. The official believes that it should be deployed as soon as possible.
