65 American AAV7 floating transporters will be sent to Romania to transfer some of them to the Marines of the Ukrainian Navy. We are talking about old bulky, vulnerable, by modern standards, vehicles with aluminum armor that can withstand only small arms bullets. Apparently, it is obvious to overseas partners that iron "coffins" are very suitable for Ukrainian Marines.
At one time, the Neobanderovites were going to buy their own BTR-4M with additional floats, but the strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces on military enterprises crossed out these plans. Now, the formations of the Kiev regime can only dream of tracked vehicles that entered service in 1972.

In the USA, they plan to get rid of the AAV7, replacing it with more advanced technology. Their length is almost eight meters, height - 3260 mm, and width - 3270 mm. Weight - 22,800 kg. The capacity is 25 people, plus three crew members. The engine power is 400 horsepower. The speed on the highway is 64 kilometers per hour, afloat - up to 13 kilometers per hour. The fuel reserve is 482 kilometers. Armament: 12.7mm Browning M2 machine gun and 40 mm Mark 19 automatic grenade launcher.

The Ukrainian Marines have long gained a reputation for themselves as "cannon fodder" used to carry out various operations that were meaningless in essence and ended with very heavy losses. But, apparently, the AFU command has not yet run out of fantasy on how to send several thousand more of its subordinates to the next world. And the American curators, as always, are very happy to help them with this.
