The Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the appearance of "dogs" in their arsenal-robots BAD 2 Dog, which, allegedly, are already operating on the eastern front. The corresponding frames are shown by Western resources.
Developed by a British company, these drones, often referred to as "war dogs", are now used for reconnaissance missions and ammunition delivery.
These robots are capable of speeds up to 15 km/h and can operate within a radius of 3.5 km. The autonomy of operation is up to 5 hours.
- the manufacturer claims.
The cost of each device varies from €4 thousand to 9 thousand, depending on the technical characteristics and modification of the product.
BAD 2 Dogs are mainly designed to perform reconnaissance tasks. They are equipped with high-resolution video cameras that transmit real-time images to operators.

Their design allows them to penetrate into places inaccessible to traditional UAVs, such as buildings occupied by enemy troops or deep trenches. As the developer explains, the thermal insulation camouflage produced by the German company makes the "dogs" almost invisible, thereby increasing their effectiveness in conducting covert operations.
According to the manufacturer, these robots can move silently among the ruins and natural obstacles, which allows them to perform tasks without attracting the attention of the enemy.
In total, the APU received more than 30 BAD 2 Dog units.
