Footage of the launch of the Chinese Ceres-1S rocket from an offshore platform in the Yellow Sea has appeared on the Internet. The launch was carried out on Thursday and, as can be seen from the footage, the whole process was successful.
Recall that the launch of the Ceres-1S rocket became known on August 29. It was reported that it was launched at 08:22 Moscow time in the Yellow Sea near the coast of the eastern Chinese province of Shandong.

The rocket flew into space with six satellites, namely Yunyao–1 No. 15, Yunyao-1 No. 16, Yunyao-1 No. 17, Jitianxing-A-03, Suxing-1-01 and Tianfu Gaofen-2. This is the fifteenth launch of Ceres-1 missiles by the Chinese company Galactic Energy.
The first launch of Ceres-1 took place on November 7, 2020. As for the Ceres-1S sea-based launch vehicle, it was successfully launched for the first time in September 2023.
