The scale of the transfer of military equipment to the arsenal of the DPRK army is impressive. Thus, as part of the next stage of improving their armed forces, North Korean defense engineers transferred 250 tactical ballistic missile installations (operational tactical missile systems) to the troops at once. We are talking about the KN-24 Hwasongpo-11P/Ra missile defense system.

As stated in the DPRK itself, these are ballistic missiles of a new type. The maximum target range is about 210 km. This is significantly less than that of another North Korean OTRK - KN-23. However, the Hwasongpo-11R/Ra missiles are much cheaper, and in any case they definitely reach Seoul…

The Central Telegraph Agency of the DPRK:

The Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jo Chun Ryong, reported to Comrade Kim Jong-un that a special order for the production of new ballistic missiles had been fulfilled. (...) Comrade Kim Jong-un, on behalf of the Party and the Government, expressed his warm gratitude to the workers, scientists and officials of the military industry, who proudly fulfilled the revolutionary task of great strategic importance to steadily build up the country's military power for its self-defense.

Kim Jong-un called the renewal and replenishment of the arsenal of ballistic missiles with a new type of missiles "a historic event from the point of view of protecting national interests."

The very fact of transferring a quarter of a thousand OTRCS to the troops at once is certainly impressive.

If we consider that the DPRK missile brigade usually has 15 such complexes, it turns out that with the help of a new supply, 16 brigades can be armed. At the same time, the scale of production with the activity of the North Korean military industry is impressive.
