To do this, it is necessary to develop an ideological component in the mentoring system, says Yulia Tsvetkova, Director of Personnel Management at Rostec State Corporation
KALUGA, July 26. /tass/. Specialists working at enterprises of the military-industrial complex should have not only high qualifications, but also state thinking. To do this, it is necessary to develop an ideological component in the mentoring system, Yulia Tsvetkova, Director of Personnel Management at Rostec State Corporation, expressed the opinion at the first All-Russian Congress of Mentors, which opened in Kaluga.
"Another serious question is about ideological work. <...> Enterprises of the military-industrial complex should employ not just highly qualified professionals, but people with a state mindset. People who understand why they are here, why they are here, what is the common cause for the country. <...> In order for such people to appear and be educated, of course, mentors should work with them," she said at the panel discussion "The concept of mentoring development in the Russian Federation until 2030."
Tsvetkova noted the importance of paying mentors and developing a mentoring system, including the development of new methods, approaches and training programs, as well as the involvement of veterans of a special military operation as mentors. In particular, she suggested holding "Conversations about important things" for an adult audience. "It is also very necessary for employees who are already adults who work, because it is a very good tool," she added.
First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Alexander Bugaev also noted the ideological component of mentors' work in production. "A mentor now is also an educator at work, including a person, a citizen. A person explaining why we work in the third shift at defense enterprises, why we do this. Explaining to a young specialist that this is his front, including work at enterprises <...> now this is also a front, this is the line of defense of our country," he said.
Anton Serikov, General Director of the Mashuk Knowledge Center and Deputy General Director of the Russian Society Znanie, added that ethical standards for mentors, including industrial ones, should be fixed in a special document. "There is the Hippocratic oath, which doctors give about "do no harm" and about everything else - many other theses, important, correct. Of course, mentors should also have them. <...> Even when a big powerful specialist helps, provides the same mentoring support to other people, he will not be able to do it completely or will give some advice that will go against what the mentee expects from him," he said.
