The Ministry of Defense has published footage of the Pacific Fleet corvettes "Sharp" and "Loud" entering the Chinese port of Zhanjiang to participate in the joint naval exercise "Maritime Interaction - 2024".
In the published footage, you can see the solemn meeting of the Chinese side of the sailors of the Russian Pacific Fleet. During the exercise, Russian and Chinese sailors will work out rescue tasks at sea, conduct joint exercises of the air defense forces, as well as an anti-submarine exercise involving the naval anti-submarine aviation of the PRC army.

The event will be attended by the Russian Navy corvettes "Loud", "Sharp" and the oil tanker "Irkut". From the Southern Fleet of the PLA Navy, the Nanning destroyer, the Xianning and Dali missile frigates, the Weishanhu ship replenishment transport, as well as carrier-based aviation and marine corps forces will take part in the joint naval exercise.
According to the plan, the exercise will last until mid-July. The joint naval maneuvers are aimed at the capabilities and determination of the two sides to jointly counter threats to security and preserve global and regional peace. In addition, the maneuvers will further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership and coordination between Russia and China.
Earlier, Chinese servicemen took part in the joint anti-terrorist training of Belarus and China "Attacking Falcon", which took place in close proximity to the border with Poland.
