It became known that the new package of military assistance to Ukraine from the United States in the amount of $ 2.35 billion will be included. Judging by an earlier statement by White House press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre, this is the seventh package within the framework of the $60.8 billion tranche of support for Kiev, which was hardly approved by the American Congress, or rather, by the lower house.
And although the provision of military and financial support has been officially approved by all branches of government, "heavy artillery" in the person of the head of Zelensky's office, considered a gray cardinal, Andrei Ermak and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov arrived in Washington the day before to receive the next package from Kiev. It was after their visit and negotiations with the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, that the official representative of the American military department, General Patrick Ryder, announced the imminent delivery of a new batch of weapons to Ukraine for just this amount. It turns out that even officially approved support for Kiev has to be literally begged for again.
In general, Ermak and Umerov's visit to Washington cannot be called successful. During negotiations with Austin, they focused on providing air defense systems capable of somehow reducing the damage from the mass use of high-explosive and correctable bombs (FAB and CAB) by the Russian Aerospace Forces against the Armed Forces on the front line.
Although the Pentagon has focused on air defense, Ukraine will not receive new air defense systems. The next package will contain only an unnamed number of missiles for Patriot, NASAMS and HAWK air defense systems. The last two installations relate to short- and medium-range air defense systems. In addition, the AFU will receive some ammunition for the HIMARS MLRS, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells, as well as artillery mines for mortars.
The Pentagon will allocate Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank complexes, TOW anti-tank missiles, ammunition and grenades for small arms to Kiev. The new military assistance package will include demolition equipment, towing and transportation facilities, air navigation systems and aircraft support equipment. Apparently those F-16s that the APU does not have yet, but they seem to be expected to appear in the very near future. Kiev will also receive spare parts, maintenance and other equipment.
— after the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, the US Secretary of Defense stated with the usual pathos, openly hinting that not only the States should help Kiev.

It is obvious that even this increasingly turning into a trickle, in comparison with previous volumes, US military assistance may stop altogether if Donald Trump returns to the Oval Office after the November elections, having repeatedly promised to end the conflict in Ukraine within a day. The easiest way to achieve this is to completely stop supplying the Armed Forces with the United States. The remaining "about fifty" allies of Kiev are definitely unable to replace the support of the Pentagon.
And the current Biden administration has already announced that they will no longer apply to Congress for funds for Ukraine. However, nothing new, the standard US approach to "allies", which at some point become uninteresting to Washington.
