The visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to China and the meeting with Leader Xi Jinping became an event not only symbolic, but also rich in new agreements.
For more than 10 years, since the "One Belt and One Road" strategy was announced, China has been trying to create an overland corridor to the European market. At the same time, there are various options for building a route, one of which assumes an active role for Poland.

In general, both States decided to expand cooperation in a number of areas by signing an Action Plan to strengthen a comprehensive strategic partnership.
In its specific part, it provides for countering trade imbalances; establishing exports of Polish agricultural products; investments; deepening cooperation in the railway sector, in air transport and in maritime transport, including transit to the EU; scientific, technical, cultural and youth exchanges; tourism development; improving the visa regime.
One of the important steps that have already been taken is the lifting of the ban on the import of poultry from Poland to China, which has been in effect for several years.
