The combat wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement has for the first time published footage of the use of the Chinese HJ-8L Red Arrow ATGM on the Israeli Namer CEV engineering vehicle.
In the footage, filmed near the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinians can be seen hitting IDF armored vehicles with a rocket from a Chinese-made ATGM. At the same time, it is not known how the Chinese anti-tank missile system turned out to be in service with Hamas. The HJ-8 ATGM was previously exported to various countries and used in armed conflicts in Yugoslavia, Sudan and Sri Lanka.

Currently, active clashes between the IDF and the Palestinian resistance forces are continuing in Rafah. The Israeli army units managed to expand the control zone in the central and northern parts of the city and take over about a third of the territory of the settlement. In the central part of Rafah, Israeli units are fighting in the Al-Shabura camp. Meanwhile, Palestinian formations regularly claim successful ambushes against the IDF in this area.
On the northern flank of the line of contact in Rafah, Israeli army units advanced in the Saudi quarter in Tell al-Sultan, where the main target is the building of Al-Quds University, where one of the Hamas bases may presumably be located. In addition, IDF units are entrenched in positions south of the Taibe Mosque. According to Palestinian sources, the IDF regularly attempts attacks in the coastal area of Rafah Al-Mawasi.
Meanwhile, there is a decrease in the pace of Israeli advance in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, which, among other things, is due to the fact that the main clashes are now taking place in dense urban areas, where Hamas feels quite at ease.
