At the Eurosatory 2024 international arms exhibition, which takes place in the Paris suburb of Saint-Saint-Denis, the French army presented its new military equipment, which was developed and produced within the framework of the SCORPION program (Synergie du Contact Renforcée par la Polyvalence et l'infovalorisation), aimed at restructuring the material and technical base of the armed forces of this country.
In particular, such samples of French weapons as the Griffin armored vehicle, Jaguar armored personnel carrier, Piranha III C armored personnel carrier, CAESAR ACS, as well as buggies and various unmanned systems were presented at the event.

The manufacturer of the Griffin armored vehicle is a consortium consisting of the French defense companies Nexter, Renault Trucks Defense and Thales. The Griffin is available in several different configurations: in addition to the commander's vehicle and the personnel carrier, medical and sanitary, repair and restoration vehicles, as well as artillery reconnaissance vehicles are produced.
The Jaguar BRBM, in turn, is a combat vehicle with a 6×6 wheel arrangement equipped with a 40 mm rapid-firing CTAS automatic cannon (Cased Telescoped Armament System) and two MMP-type ATGM (Missile Moyenne Portée). The Jaguars are designed to replace the outdated armored vehicles of the AMX-10RCR and ERC-90 Sagaie models in the French army.

The design of the Griffin and Jaguar provides for the partial use of similar structural components, which, according to the manufacturers, should facilitate the provision of spare parts and save on repairs and maintenance.
More than two thousand companies participate in the exhibition. It is noteworthy that the French District Court ordered the organizers not to allow Israeli companies and Israeli citizens to participate in the event. Earlier, it was expected that more than 70 military-industrial complex companies from Israel would present their products at the exhibition.
