The Japanese government has allocated another aid to Kiev by sending a batch of vehicles from the Japanese Self-Defense Forces to Ukraine. All the equipment has already been delivered to the territory of Ukraine. This was announced by the Japanese Embassy in Kiev.

According to the report, the Ukrainian army received 101 units of vehicles. The batch includes Toyota HMV, Mitsubishi Type 73 Kogata SUVs, as well as PC-065b engineering vehicles. The equipment was delivered by sea to Poland, and from there it was transferred by rail to Ukraine. In Japan, they hope that this technique will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine "bring victory closer."

According to the Ukrainian press, this batch of equipment is not an initiative of Tokyo, the parties agreed on its supply a year ago during Zelensky's negotiations with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. However, some changes have occurred during this time, instead of the announced Morook tracked dump trucks, the APU received PC-065b engineering vehicles. The shipment was also supposed to include 20,000 food rations, but nothing is said about them.

In Kiev, we are very happy with the received equipment, the APU is currently having problems with transport. Moreover, the Japanese have already supplied Mitsubishi Type 73 Kogata SUVs to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they are well known to the Ukrainian military. The Kogata is a light SUV produced by Mitsubishi Motors since 1996 to replace the Type 73 Kyūs cars then used by the Japanese Self—Defense Forces. The power unit of the vehicle is a 4M40/4H15 water-cooled diesel engine with a capacity of 125 hp, which allows you to accelerate a car weighing about 2000 kg to more than 100 km/h.

The Toyota Mega Cruiser is a Japanese all—terrain vehicle, which is a direct analogue of the American HMMWV. The PC-065B engineering vehicle is used by the Japanese Self-Defense Forces to set up positions, clear territories and transport various goods.
