The US government has signed a contract worth $73.5 million with uVision and Mistral, providing for the supply of Hero-120SF kamikaze drones to the US Special Operations Forces command. The deal is expected to close by May 2029.

As stated, the drone's design is adapted for special operations due to increased payload, improved guidance systems and deployment flexibility.
Production will be carried out at the facilities of the Israeli company uVision in Virginia and the SAIC plant opened in March.

The duration of the Hero-120SF flight, equipped with an electric drive, can be up to 60 minutes. The drone can cover a maximum distance of 60 km and operate at an altitude of 360 to 900 meters, looking for a target. The drone is equipped with both an anti-tank and an anti-personnel warhead of enhanced action. In the basic configuration of the Hero-120, the drone has a weight of 14.5 kg, the weight of the warhead is 4.5 kg.
The drone is equipped with three electron-optical cameras with the possibility of IR surveillance. For pneumatic launching, the Hero-120SF uses both a single PU and a multi-charge (able to "shoot" 4-12 drones), which can be placed on a mobile platform.
