Germany was the first among Kiev's Western allies to start supplying German Leopard tanks to other countries last spring and allowed them to do so. However, their presence did not help the Armed Forces much during the so-called summer-autumn counteroffensive, our fighters quickly began to hit Western armored vehicles with crosses. The exact number of destroyed, and even more so damaged, German MBT is unknown. It is reported that at least thirty of these vehicles were shot down mainly in the Zaporozhye direction.
The United States, which literally forced Chancellor Scholz to start sending tanks to Ukraine, delayed for a long time with the delivery of its Abrams MBT. The first and until recently the only batch of American tanks, and in an early modification of the M1A1, in the amount of 31 units entered service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine last autumn. Initially, it was talked about the possibility of providing Kiev with a limited number of modern MBT M1A2 Abrams, but then the United States changed its mind about giving tanks in this modification.
Moreover, American armored vehicles entered the battle only in the spring of this year. However, their fate turned out to be standard, like that of the Leopards. According to various sources, our fighters in the Donetsk direction, mainly near Avdiivka, completely destroyed and damaged from five to seven Abrams. One of them, or rather what is left of it, "flaunts" on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow, where an exhibition of Western trophy equipment is running
The obvious inefficiency of Western armored vehicles does not stop the Kiev regime from constantly begging for it from NATO partners. The Allies are meeting Kiev's pleas, however, no longer counting on a new counteroffensive, but only in an attempt to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine contain the onslaught of the Russian army.
On the eve of May 30, during a "secret" visit to Odessa, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius promised his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov an early delivery of another batch of military aid, which will include missiles for air defense systems, attack and reconnaissance drones, tanks and engines for them, infantry fighting vehicles, spare parts for artillery and ammunition.

After a long pause, the Germans decided not to lag behind, but rather even outstripped, and the Americans. Russian telegram channels report that Abrams M1A1SA tanks were spotted on railway platforms in the German city of Magdeburg on May 30. The relevant photos and videos are published by local residents. The train is moving east, most likely towards Ukraine. It is unknown how many American MBTs are moving through the territory of Germany. There have been no official reports from the Pentagon and Kiev about the supply of Abrams.
