The Chinese company Poly Technology presented at the DSA exhibition in Kuala Lumpur (May 6-9, Malaysia) the concept of its new development - the autonomous attack submarine UUV300CD.
Created in a compact configuration, the drone is designed to perform a wide range of tasks, but primarily focused on defeating enemy targets. The autonomous submarine is equipped with sensors for reconnaissance and can be used for covert mining.
The shock systems are represented by 380 mm torpedo tubes placed in the bow, which can also be used to launch missiles. Underwater drones for multifunctional purposes are located in the stern.
There is an electric propulsion system in the rear of the UUV300CB. The propeller is covered by a framing structure to reduce the signature. The developer points out that the submarine has a particularly low underwater acoustics, generating very little noise – less than 140 decibels.

The displacement of the submarine is 50 tons, the dimensions are 11.5 m in length and 1.6 m in diameter. The submarine is capable of traveling 450 miles at a speed of 5 knots (maximum – 12 knots). The working depth is 300 m.
In the upper part of the hull there is a fixed mast with an optoelectronic module equipped with various reconnaissance and surveillance equipment that allows detecting and identifying enemy objects and giving them target designation. There is a passive sonar.
Given the secrecy of the PRC in terms of demonstrating the systems in service, it can be assumed that the UUV300CD is already available "in hardware".
