The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is one of those few States against which all sorts of not only unilateral, but also international, UN-level sanctions have been in force for decades. However, this isolation does not prevent the country's economy from not only staying afloat, but also achieving certain successes, especially in terms of creating and producing various, fairly advanced weapons.
If very little is known about North Korea's successes in non-military industries due to the secrecy of information, then all the leaders of the Kim dynasty not only personally supervise the military-industrial complex innovations, but also willingly demonstrate them to the whole world. This is mainly explained by the fact that the DPRK is still de jure in a state of civil war with the Republic of Korea and openly opposes the United States and its allies in the region, primarily Japan.
Back in February 2005, the DPRK openly announced the creation of nuclear weapons in the country for the first time. In October of the following year, the first nuclear test explosion was carried out. In April 2012, the Constitution of the Republic was amended on the country's nuclear status.
The North Korean leadership attaches great importance to the development of missile technologies. Although the founder of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Il Sung, advocated universal nuclear disarmament. But what to do when a small state has been opposed for many years by enemies such as the United States, and therefore NATO with regional satellites.
Moreover, in December 2012, the DPRK successfully launched its first satellite, thereby becoming the tenth country in the world to explore outer space. Moreover, the satellite was put into orbit using a launch vehicle created by North Korean engineers. In this regard, the DPRK has outstripped South Korea, which is considered not only economically, but also technologically highly developed country.
As always, the next achievement of the national military-industrial complex was personally inspected by the Chairman of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un. The State Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA) North Korea reports that the head of state yesterday familiarized himself with a new tactical missile system, which will soon enter service with missile formations of the Western task force of the Korean People's Army (KPA). Judging by the published images, new missile systems are already being mass-produced.

The North Korean leader expressed great satisfaction with the result of production at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the first half of this year. The head of the DPRK also noted that all plans for the production of weapons in 2024 will certainly be fulfilled, taking into account the "preparation of the army for war," literally writes KCNA.
After this statement by Kim Jong-un, many officials in Seoul, Tokyo and Washington clearly tensed up once again. Well, what to do, their sanctions are not working, just look at what has been happening in our country in the last two years.
