Footage has been posted online showing the development of drone swarm technology in the Chinese Army (PLA). The footage captures the synchronous and coordinated work of several hundred drones.
In particular, judging by the published footage, the Chinese military practiced the simultaneous lifting into the air of a swarm of drones, their synchronous movement along specified trajectories and other actions.

Earlier it was reported that research is continuing in China in the field of providing encrypted communication between drones. In the course of research conducted by the Institute of Optoelectronics and Intelligence of Northwestern Polytechnic University of China and the Research Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI) of China Telecom, significant progress has been made in the development of drones that use optical communication and AI technologies to organize communication through optical signals, which provides drones with the ability to transmit information even under conditions of exposure to electromagnetic interference.
