Today, on May 9, parades dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War were held in many Russian cities.
Undoubtedly, the main and largest event was the parade on Red Square, which was attended by more than 9 thousand military personnel, over 70 units of military equipment and aviation.
Meanwhile, the most unusual parade, according to tradition, was the event in Tula. After all, not only restored WWII equipment, in particular the legendary BM-13 Katyusha, but also small-scale and experimental equipment, which is being developed at local enterprises, has passed through the city square today.
Among the above-mentioned samples, one could notice the Mars-2000 PRP-5 on the BMP-3 chassis, the RHM-9 based on Typhoon-K, the BMD-2M with the Bereg combat module, AG-34 pickups and other equipment.
It is worth noting that some of these samples are in service with Tula military formations and are used in the area of their own defense.
