Rostec United Engine Corporation presented projects on the creation of new industrial software for the development and production of gas turbine engines at the demo day of the industrial competence center "Engine Building". In particular, systems for designing aircraft engine parts made of polymer composite materials. The amount of investments in the creation of domestic solutions is several billion rubles.
Domestic IT solutions created as part of the implementation of particularly significant projects and innovative startups will be applied at participating enterprises of the industrial competence center.
Vladimir Dozhdev, Director of the Digital Technologies Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, noted that the high-tech engine industry solves the most difficult tasks. In this regard, the requirements for ongoing digitalization projects are constantly growing.
"The UEC is currently implementing two particularly significant projects. This is the refinement and implementation of a production and supply chain management system at machine-building enterprises with internal cooperation. The project is being implemented jointly with the NPC 1C company. Also of particular importance is the creation of domestic engineering solutions in the field of PLM and CAD. A special feature of this project is that it will develop a system that allows you to design aircraft engine parts from polymer composite materials. The programs are being developed using a grant from the Russian Information Technology Development Fund, the total amount of funding is 2 billion rubles. The support from the state makes it possible to create IT products necessary for the engine industry," said Vyacheslav Khristolyubov, Director of Digital Transformation at the UEC.
In addition to implementing particularly significant projects, UEC actively attracts other developers and startups to the development of domestic IT products. For example, the PLM Ural Group of companies is creating a program for modeling the manufacturing processes of aircraft engine parts using additive technologies. The software shows the 3D printing process and makes a forecast of possible deviations from the design documentation. The project is scheduled to be completed next year.
UEC also cooperates with the Russian company Modeling and Digital Twins (JSC MCD), which is developing a software package for managing data on the properties of materials. Storing and managing these data in a single database allows you to analyze how the properties of the material change during the creation of the product, its testing and operation. The creation of a single database ensures the reliability and accuracy of information about materials.
The intelligent decision support system "Digital Engineer" jointly developed by Power Machines and Nordenergroup IT companies will reduce the time and improve the quality of technological preparation of production by 25-30%. The function of searching for analogues and copying technical processes based on artificial intelligence technology reduces the amount of "manual" work and the time required to prepare technical documentation, optimizing existing workflows.
Another innovative project, the Vibrotex program of JSC NPP Rubin, is already being used at Russian enterprises. It uses elements of the "Secure Hardware and software management and Diagnostics platform for industrial equipment" system. The hardware and software complex has passed factory tests at one of the UEC enterprises and has been recommended as a vibration protection and vibration diagnostics system for gas turbine engines. The fully digitally configurable Vibrotex complex with WARP controllers allows you to quickly configure the necessary functions without having to make changes to the system design.
Promising developments were presented in Rybinsk during the demo day of the industrial competence center "Engine Building", the parent organization of which is the UEC. The event was held with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, ANO Digital Economy and the Russian Foundation for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT). The demo day in Rybinsk became the second in a row and was held within the framework of the International Technology Forum "Innovations. Technologies. Production".
