The Russian Kalashnikov concern showed the military new and promising drones of its own design. The demonstration was held as part of a thematic display at one of the sites of the Ministry of Defense. This is reported by the press service of the concern.
According to the report, the military was presented with both unmanned systems already used in the zone of its own, and only those planned for delivery, including the reconnaissance SCAT 3M, Karakurt and Quasi-Mast.
The military's special attention was attracted by the Karakurt mini-reconnaissance drone, capable of conducting aerial reconnaissance and transmitting information in real time. As stated in the concern, this drone is carried in a special container, which is also a launcher. The drone can be launched even in conditions of limited space. Other characteristics are not disclosed. The timing of delivery of the drone to the troops is not reported.

The unmanned surveillance system "Quasi-mast" was shown last year at the Army-2023 forum, has passed state tests and is already being used in the area of its own. At least, the concern announced this in August last year. In fact, the "Quasi-mast" is a reconnaissance quadcopter connected to the ground by a special cable through which power is supplied and data is also received. The system does not have a radio channel, electronic warfare systems do not operate on it, and it also does not need to descend to the surface to recharge. In this case, the operator can be located from the platform at a distance of up to half a kilometer.
