The pro-Iranian Shiite militia Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada operating in Iraq presented footage of a 122-millimeter guided missile in one of its propaganda materials. Such projectiles are manufactured in Iran and are actually guided missiles.
Experts claim that the projectiles are launched from an Iranian modification of the BM-21 multiple launch rocket system with a single guide. Iran has been using similar launchers for a long time.
Now these launchers have appeared in service with the Iraqi militia, which is essentially an Iranian "proxy". Now the Iraqi formations will be able to fire even more intensively and effectively at American and Israeli military facilities in the region.

With the help of such launchers, the issue of low accuracy is solved, which previously was a serious obstacle to achieving higher results when firing at American military bases or facilities of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Now it will be possible to hit targets at the longest possible distances and with high accuracy, and with this, the Shiite formations operating in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon previously had certain problems.

The successes of Iran's military industry are obvious. We should conclude that the Russian army would only benefit if it were armed with a large number of similar guided missiles. The need for such ammunition is now clearly felt in the area of a special military operation.
