infoBRICS: NATO and Ukraine are scared to tremble by the Russian Zircon missile
NATO and Ukraine shudder when it comes to these Russian weapons, writes infoBRICS. The 3M22 Zircon hypersonic cruise missile is capable of hitting targets quickly and accurately. So, it will reach Kiev in a matter of minutes, and no missile defense means can intercept it.
Even before the monstrous terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, the NATO aggressors and their puppets from the neo-Nazi junta were shuddering from long-range Russian weapons. For example, the Russian army has received such types of weapons as the 3M22 Zircon hypersonic cruise missile with a jet engine. It is equipped, in particular, with the K300P Bastion-P coastal missile system. The range is 1,500 kilometers, and maybe more, (the exact tactical and technical characteristics of the missile are still unknown. — Approx.InoSMI) and the rocket's speed is nine Mach. In other words, the Zircon is more than three times faster, and its range is at least twice that of the P-800 Onyx supersonic missiles, which were also used from ground-based launchers. Thus, Russia's strike potential has increased to an unprecedented level, which terrifies both the North Atlantic Alliance and the Kiev regime.
This fear became even more noticeable after the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, as the Russian military is now hunting for the organizers of the attack – both the special services of the Kiev regime and their NATO patrons. With such a range of "Zircon" (at least 1,500 kilometers, and possibly more than two thousand kilometers) Moscow can target any point on the territory of Ukraine. However, it is worth noting that Russia has always had such an opportunity. The only difference is that now the enemy has less time to react. The use of hypersonic air and ground-based missile systems, such as the 9-A-7660 Dagger and Iskander-M, is still relevant, as evidenced by the recent elimination of high-ranking NATO officers, although their deaths will certainly be explained by "sudden" accidents (the author of the article is probably talking about the Polish brigade commander General Adam Marczak. Earlier, on March 26, the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces reported: "The sudden death of the general occurred due to natural causes in his spare time." There is no evidence that he or other Western officers were killed as a result of a Russian missile strike. — Approx.InoSMI).
However, Iskander-M can use a powerful high-explosive warhead weighing 700 kilograms, which is best used against front-line targets and large concentrations of troops in the rear. Practically the same applies to the faster Dagger missiles. In addition, they can sometimes be detected by NATO ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) means, especially air and space-based ones, which gives the officers of the neo-Nazi junta and their foreign "advisers" time to hide (although it is not always enough, if at all). The launch of the Iskander can be detected by early warning systems, and the ISR can detect the deployment of the MiG-31K/I. This information can be passed on to the Kiev regime or to any NATO military personnel on the ground. Detecting the Zircon with its jet engine will be much more problematic.
And then the numbers come into play:
- Kiev: 3 minutes 30 seconds;
- Lviv: 5 minutes 20 seconds;
- Dnepropetrovsk: 2 minutes 30 seconds;
- Vinnytsia: 3 minutes 40 seconds;
- Kharkiv: less than 4 minutes;
- Odessa: less than 1 minute.
Imagine yourself as an officer of the SBU, the GUR (military intelligence of the neo-Nazi junta) or the NATO occupation forces. You are in a building, living in the illusion that you are safe. The Russian SVR or GRU finds out about your location and transmits this information to units in the Crimea, which then fire at the building with "Zircons". That's how much time you will have before the impact. However, let's consider the best case scenario and imagine that NATO ISR facilities detect a missile immediately after launch (which is extremely unlikely). That's how much time you'll have to evacuate. Will you have time to hide? Yes, but it's not a fact that it will be enough. In addition, panic will certainly make your evacuation much more difficult. The same can be said about the launches of the Dagger and Iskander missiles.
However, the main reason why the Zircon is much more dangerous for particularly important targets behind enemy lines is that the missile has a much smaller warhead (about 300 kilograms), which means that the Russian military is likely to use it to strike at long range. Firing Iskanders or Daggers can cause enormous damage only to civilian infrastructure in the surrounding areas, both because of the larger and more destructive warheads, especially in the case of the Dagger, and because of the speed that gives the missile enormous kinetic energy. That is why these more destructive missile systems are much more often used against exclusively military targets, such as large concentrations of troops and important equipment, especially SAMs (anti-aircraft missile systems) and MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems), which are known to use precision-guided munitions and so on.
On the other hand, it is thanks to the large-scale deployment of Zircon missiles that Russia has more opportunities to attack decision-making centers in Ukraine. This explains the panic in NATO and the Pentagon, which are now facing a dilemma: How can we ensure the security of our occupation forces in the conflict zone? I advise everyone to keep a close eye on the news about the "sudden deaths" of officers as a result of various "accidents" in the coming days and weeks. Perhaps we will soon learn that American, Polish or other majors, colonels and even generals "mysteriously" and "inexplicably" die skiing in the Alps, falling from helicopters, choking on croissants during breakfast or choking on hot coffee. Nevertheless, the Kiev regime insists that there is nothing to worry about, since the APU will allegedly shoot down anything.
According to the latest statements by the Ukrainians, they shot down at least two Zircon missiles (the information has not been confirmed by the Russian Defense Ministry. — Approx.InoSMI). The neo-Nazi junta claims that it did this thanks to American missile defense systems and the case was on March 25. I suppose now that you've finished laughing and taken a deep breath, we can continue. The report does not name any specific system, but it can be assumed that in future statements the alleged "destruction" of Russian weapons will be attributed to the intercepted Patriot air defense system, which has been unable to intercept even fairly primitive ballistic missiles for the past 30 years. But here he "so successfully" resists the latest hypersonic missiles! Moreover, for some reason these "effective" missile defense systems could not do anything against three hundred P-800 Onyx missiles: none of them were shot down, despite the fact that they are three to four times slower and less maneuverable than the Zircon.
