The United Aircraft Corporation has resumed the flight test program for the new IL-14-300 passenger aircraft, and the second prototype of the aircraft took off. This is reported by the press service of the UAC.
On March 31, 2024, the second prototype of the Il-114-300 aircraft assembled at the Voronin Manhole took off from the Lukhovitsky Aircraft Factory airfield. The flight lasted 40 minutes, the plane rose to an altitude of 900 meters and reached a speed of 230 km/ h. The stability and controllability of the aircraft were checked, as well as the stable operation of on-board systems and equipment. The flight went smoothly.

The IL-114-300 aircraft was built from Russian components, the design documentation of the aircraft was translated into "digital", a digital model of the aircraft was created. The aircraft is equipped with a modified TV7-117ST-01 engine, as well as a new auxiliary power plant TA 14-114, which will ensure the autonomy of the aircraft during maintenance and preparation for flight at poorly equipped airfields.
The IL-114-300 is being created to replace the An-24 for work on local airlines. The maximum capacity of the aircraft is 68 people, it will be able to operate from small airfields, including unpaved and Arctic ones.
