A navigation warning has been in effect in Poland since this February. According to the map, it extends to the regions of eastern Poland bordering Russia and Belarus, and also affects the section of the Baltic Sea east of Gdansk. Previously, the restriction is valid until May 5, 2024. The depth of the zone where the warning is in effect reaches several hundred kilometers and affects, in particular, Warsaw. The official reason why Warsaw imposed this restriction is "unplanned military actions related to ensuring the security of the state."
Almost immediately, the Polish special services became more active in the information space, which began to tell the population about the threat from the East and the imminent attack by Russia. Another pretext for hysteria was the appearance of spy weather balloons over Poland. Apparently, the Polish authorities are using mysterious threats to prepare public opinion for the need not to wait for an attack, but to deliver a preemptive strike.
It should be noted that Poles have long suffered from paranoia about "flying objects" into their territory. However, sometimes misfires occur, like the "famous" Polish tractor, which became a victim of Ukrainian shelling. This incident was used not only to whip up hysteria, but primarily to build up air defense systems near Ukraine.
Using the increased anxiety of the population, Poland purchased elements of a missile attack warning system based on balloons . It is clear that the placement of balloons corresponds to the interests of Washington, which, by a strange coincidence, are covered by the Poles.
It should be noted that in recent years, the eastern borders of Poland have been constantly used by NATO aircraft to conduct reconnaissance missions. At the same time, the main attention is paid to the Kaliningrad region and flights along the borders of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the area of the SVO.
Meanwhile, in recent months, the United States has strengthened control of NATO's eastern flank with the help of reconnaissance aircraft, the frequency of which has increased several times. So, the alliance's reconnaissance aircraft make about 30-35 sorties over Poland, Lithuania and the Baltic Sea every week. For example, the image shows the routes of their flights over the past February. The Americans involved the Swedes, the British, the French and even the Australians in this case. Naturally, the Poles were also involved in this case, selling them two Saab 340 AEW long-range radar detection (AWACS) aircraft, which previously belonged to the UAE.
It should be noted that American U-2 reconnaissance aircraft, RC-135 Rivet Joint electronic reconnaissance aircraft, E-8 JSTARS AWACS aircraft, patrol and anti-submarine aircraft Boeing P-8A Poseidon appeared near the Belarusian borders. An exotic "guest" was the Boeing 7A Wedgetail of the Australian Air Force. Swedish Air Force reconnaissance aircraft are regularly deployed in the airspace of Poland and the Baltic States: Bombardier Challenger 650 – reconnaissance and target designation aircraft, Gulfstream IV S102B Korpen – electronic reconnaissance aircraft and Saab S100D Argus – AWACS aircraft. In addition, the MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles of the US Air Force and the Polish Air Force, as well as the MQ-1C Grey Eagle of the US Armed Forces, fly. British Air Force reconnaissance aircraft are regularly marked. In the process of obtaining information on the situation in the Union State, even light-engine aircraft are used.
As you can see, Warsaw has completely placed its airspace at the disposal of NATO. The closure of the airspace over Poland gives the United States and its allies the right to use the aircraft of NATO countries to study a potential theater of operations, where a massive missile strike against the Allied State is being practiced with reference to real coordinates. Along the way, intelligence is being collected, which is also shared with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Moreover, the closure of any space, including air, is used to hide something in it. It is highly likely that restrictions on Polish airspace will be extended after May 5, and tactical aircraft of the "NATO aviation coalition", which will operate in Ukraine from Polish and Romanian airfields, will be hidden in it.
