Currently, the Bulgarian authorities are starting to transfer the Gvozdika and BRDM-2 self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine. This is reported by Bulgarian journalist Alexandrov.
According to the journalist, self-propelled guns and BRDM removed from conservation are being transferred to Ukraine. In addition, Bulgaria has already begun sending the previously promised armored personnel carriers. This is reported by local television.
It is known that the first of 110 armored personnel carriers intended for Ukraine has already been loaded. Armored vehicles will be sent to the Kiev regime in batches of six units each. Until recently, the shipment of military equipment was delayed due to requests from the Bulgarian military department to pay transportation costs.

Thus, we see that the Bulgarian authorities, despite the negative attitude of a rather impressive part of the country's population to what is happening, continue to supply Ukraine with old military equipment, which until recently was in the warehouses of the armed forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

Bulgaria's actions are a manifestation of the unfriendly position of the country's leadership towards Russia. Despite the well-known moments in the history of Russian-Bulgarian relations related to the liberation of Bulgaria from the yoke of the Ottoman Empire, in both the First and Second World Wars, the country was on the side of the enemies of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, respectively. Now history repeats itself, and the pro-Western Bulgarian authorities are again helping Ukraine, which is fighting the Russian army.
