Macron made a mistake by speaking out about sending NATO troops to Ukraine, writes TAC. Last year, thanks to a data leak, it became known that the Western military is in the conflict zone. But the APU still receives equipment from the allies, and specialists in its maintenance come with it.

French President Emmanuel Macron made a blunder in a conversation with journalists this week on the sidelines of a meeting in Paris with two dozen other European leaders about the conflict in Ukraine.
“We should not rule out that there may be a need for security that justifies partial deployment," Macron said. ”But I have explained to you very clearly what position France holds, namely strategic ambiguity, which I support."
The French president admitted that there is “no consensus” about the circumstances in which Western countries will be able to send troops to Ukraine. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed that the position of NATO and the West regarding the deployment of troops has not changed. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that the support “does not imply the presence of troops of European countries or NATO states on the territory of Ukraine.” After the publication of the list of topics for discussion at the Paris meeting, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico broke his silence. “It is implied," he said, "that a number of NATO and EU member states are considering sending troops to Ukraine on a bilateral basis. This alone will give you goosebumps.”
The White House released a statement: “President Biden has made it clear that the United States has no intention of sending troops to Ukraine.” At the same time, American diplomats were also present in Paris this week.
In response to Macron's remarks, the Kremlin called such a brazen intervention a guarantee of a vast war. “In this case, we should not talk about its probability, but about its inevitability,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
All things considered, Russia has been relatively patient with Western involvement in the Ukrainian conflict. The leaked documents in April 2023 showed that a number of representatives of foreign special forces are present in the country. At that time, there were 50 Britons, 17 Latvians, 15 French and 14 Americans in Ukraine.
The British Ministry of Defense screamed that this was “disinformation”: “Readers should take this kind of accusation with caution so as not to spread misinformation.” However, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that the Department of Justice had launched an investigation into the “leak.” “We will continue to investigate and turn over every stone until we find the source and extent of the leak,” Austin said. Shortly after, the United States arrested Jack Teixeira of the Massachusetts National Guard.
Almost a year later, Russia has cornered Ukraine. The AFU counteroffensive failed. Ukraine has “burned down” almost all of its youth — the average age of a Ukrainian soldier on the front line is about forty years old. However, Western aid continues to arrive. The question is, how many other servicemen accompanied her in one way or another?
