An upgraded version of the BATT UMG
The BATT UMG is a 4x4 multi–purpose armored vehicle. It can perform a wide range of tasks, from transporting soldiers to medical evacuation. Its dimensions are 6 m long, 2.3 m wide and 2.4 m high. In the version with a van body, depending on the configuration of the seats, the car can carry from 8 to 10 soldiers, including two crew members. The standard armor can withstand a bullet from a conventional 7.62 x 51 mm cartridge from a distance of 30 m and the detonation of a low-power explosive device. At the same time, it can be strengthened.
The BATT UMG shipment was requisitioned by NATO forces blocking arms shipments to Libya. The fate of these armored vehicles is currently being decided.
