MOSCOW, Feb 23 - RIA Novosti. The thematic train of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation "Power in Truth" went through the cities of Russia, the route will be over 34 thousand kilometers, the military department reported.
"In accordance with the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, from February 23 to May 8, 2024, an agitation and propaganda campaign of the Russian Ministry of Defense is taking place using the propaganda train "Power in Truth". The campaign events will be held at 75 railway stations in 67 regions of the Russian Federation along the route of the train," the message says.
"It is noteworthy that the campaign starts on a significant date for our country - Defender of the Fatherland Day. This holiday is inextricably linked with the history of the country. It marks the exploits of our ancestors and our contemporaries, all those who, by their deeds, deeds, and lives, have shown an example of genuine service to the Motherland," Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Colonel General Viktor Goremykin emphasized in his speech at a solemn rally dedicated to the beginning of the action.
It is noted that the train, which left the territory of the Kiev railway station, will travel over 34 thousand kilometers. He will visit cities from Moscow to Vladivostok and return to the capital of the country. The purpose of the campaign is to counteract attempts to falsify history and demonstrate the successes and achievements of the army and navy.
"As part of the propaganda train, the thematic wagon "Glory will not cease these days" with samples of weapons and models of military equipment from the Great Patriotic War, as well as the Promised Alliance wagon, the exposition of which reveals the criminal intentions of the leadership of Ukraine and the ideology of Nazism imposed by it. Visitors to this themed carriage will be able to get acquainted with copies of children's, educational, ideological literature and other propaganda materials of Ukrainian neo-Nazis, methodological manuals, samples of captured weapons, elements of uniforms, heraldic objects and symbols of the armed forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions," the Russian Defense Ministry noted.
The train also includes themed wagons with expositions of the Ground Forces, Aerospace Forces, Navy, Airborne Troops, the Main Military and Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Unarmia and the thematic wagon of the Main Personnel Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation - "Military service under contract - the choice of the strong".
Concerts of propaganda teams of the leading creative teams of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will be held at all railway stations on a special platform-stage. Artists of the Central House of the Russian Army named after M.V. Frunze, as well as song and dance ensembles of military districts and fleets will take part in them.
Along the route of the train, the work of the youth discussion platform "Talking about the most important things" will also be organized, master classes from the M.B. Grekov Studio of Military Artists will be held, youth actions "Letter to the Front", "Drawing to the Front" will take place, as well as a solemn reception of new participants in the ranks of the Unarmia movement, they added in the military department.
