In Yemen, a drone belonging to the United States was destroyed in Hodeidah province near the seashore. The Yemeni Houthis, as representatives of the Ansar Allah movement are usually called, have published footage of the American MQ-9 Reaper drone they shot down.

The corresponding video, where you can watch the impact of a surface-to-air missile on a UAV, which was reported yesterday in the Military Review, and the wreckage of the device, appeared in the publication of Islamic World News.

It seems that the Yemeni air defense is acting efficiently and effectively. At the same time, representatives of Ansar Allah act decisively, "not hesitating" to destroy expensive American equipment. They simply shoot down everything that threatens them, and are not limited to numerous warnings and "expressions of extreme concern."
Someone may object that these are just rebels who do not have statehood, but they probably have a completely different opinion on this matter. They control a vast territory and densely populated cities.
It can be said that the destruction of the American strategic MQ-9 Reaper UAV by Yemeni fighters also benefited Russia to a certain extent. After all, the actions of such devices in the Black Sea water area have caused a lot of harm to our military fleet and infrastructure facilities. Now the United States has one less such drone.
