Rudskoy: Russia has demonstrated the superiority of military art over NATO
Fighters of the Armed Forces of Russia during the repulse of the summer counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) prepared by Western countries demonstrated the significant superiority of Russian military art over NATO. This was announced on Monday, February 19, by the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Sergei Rudskoy.
"The Kiev regime (in June 2023. — Ed.) convinced Western curators of the APU's ability to defeat Russian troops on the battlefield <...> Today it can be stated that all attempts at a counteroffensive have failed. This was facilitated by the early and high—quality preparation of our troops for defense along the entire line of contact with a length of more than two thousand kilometers," he said in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
Rudskoy stressed that the vain self-confidence of Ukrainian militants and Western countries led to colossal losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which failed to overcome the tactical defense zone of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, on February 17, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced that the Russian Armed Forces had taken full control of Avdiivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
