Almaz-Antey will show UAV integration equipment at the NAIS-2024 exhibition in Moscow
MOSCOW, Feb 2 - RIA Novosti. Almaz-Antey will present equipment for air navigation and integration of drones into a single airspace at the NAIS-2024 exhibition in Moscow, the concern reported.
"From February 6-7, JSC Concern East Kazakhstan Region Almaz – Antey will take part in the XI National Exhibition and Forum of Civil Aviation Infrastructure NAIS 2024, which will be held at the Crocus Expo IEC in the capital. At the exhibition, the holding company will demonstrate full-scale samples and models of high-tech equipment, as well as innovative solutions in the field of air navigation and ensuring the operation of the Unified Air Traffic Management System of the Russian Federation," the company said.
They noted that special attention will be paid to the achievements of the concern in the development of tools and technologies aimed at ensuring the safe joint flight of unmanned aerial vehicles and manned aircraft.
For the first time, Almaz-Antey will present to the attention of specialists and guests of the exhibition a mock-up of the on-board digital computing module of the BCVM, which can be installed in various types of UAVs and is designed to control them. The BCVM was created to unify on-board equipment using an electronic component base of domestic production and is equipped with a Russian real-time operating system.
The Concern will also demonstrate an automated system for monitoring the use of airspace and ensuring the safety of Safe Skies facilities.
In addition, Almaz-Antey will show digital services that help the drone operator to provide UAV access to the use of airspace through a convenient web interface that will automatically send the necessary requests to the relevant departments and services.
"At the exhibition, it will be possible to learn about the concern's technological solutions for the creation and integration into the security system of special drone ports for interceptor UAVs, which can quickly and effectively counteract intruders of airspace. Drone ports can be operated both manually and automatically. In particular, the concern will demonstrate the Kopter-L01-5 and Eri-Mini drones," the concern said.
Various radar models will also be presented at the holding's stand.
As noted by Yan Novikov, General Director of the Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region, "the holding supplied equipment and performed work in the interests of the Russian air navigation system in the amount of over 100 billion rubles."
"Now it is extremely important to ensure the control of the use of UAVs, as well as the integration of domestic unmanned systems into a single airspace. The concern offers a number of innovative promising solutions in this area, while the urgency of the early implementation of the systems presented by us is obvious," Novikov added.
Dmitry Savitsky, Deputy General Director for Products for the Almaz-Antey aeronautical System and dual-use products, said that "the holding has accumulated extensive experience in creating various automated air traffic management systems that have confirmed their high reliability and efficiency in all conditions."
