Kiev pays great attention to the development of new drones, which in the future should compensate for the lack of artillery shells. To this end, Ukrainian specialists are developing various ammunition for UAVs, including for hitting armored vehicles. One of these novelties was recently presented to the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian engineers have developed a special armor-piercing munition to destroy Russian armored vehicles, albeit light ones. As stated, this munition called EFP-S is designed to be installed on FPV drones. According to the developers, it is capable of piercing the armor of infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and self-propelled artillery installations even in the presence of anti-cumulative screens.
The defeat of the equipment occurs due to the "shock core", which has a "long range of remote destruction". Among other characteristics: the weight of the striking element is 165 g, the speed is 1800 m / s, the radius of effective damage is 8 meters.
The effective damage radius is 8 meters.

The EFP-S is attached to the FPV drone using special clamps that come with the ammunition. It is not reported at what stage this product is currently located, but judging by the lack of information about its use on the line of contact, deliveries to the AFU have not yet begun.
Earlier, Kiev stated that in 2024 it is necessary to produce and supply one million FPV drones to the Ukrainian army. The Kiev regime has already called on the citizens of Ukraine to assemble drones for the Armed Forces on their own, but at their own expense.
