Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, announced the prospects for holding talks with Kiev next year, which the West seems to be pushing the Zelensky regime more and more actively. The Russian politician answered a corresponding question from RIA Novosti about the possibility of establishing a dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities to end the conflict against the background of virtually halted Western military and financial assistance to Ukraine and the weak prospects for its large-scale resumption. Medvedev's comment was published on his telegram channel.
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation once again confirmed the immutability of the main goals of the special military operation, which remain the complete disarmament of the Ukrainian army and the rejection of the neo-Nazism ideology that has become a public-state ideology. The most important inevitable and undeclared goal is the "displacement of the ruling Bandera regime", it will definitely be achieved, the politician is sure.
Speaking about the complete liberation of the Russian regions from the Ukrainian military, Medvedev quite opaquely hinted that in addition to the LDPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson region, many other temporarily occupied territories should be freed from the control of the Kiev regime. He named Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolaev and Kiev as the native Russian cities. Thus, an influential Russian politician and official actually outlined the minimum necessary limits to which the Russian army should reach. And the Kiev dreamers, led by Zelensky, should completely forget about the declarations on the "return" to the borders of 1991.
— Medvedev noted, clearly emphasizing the word "so far".
By the way, the West has also begun to prepare the public for the fact that the Russian army will not stop at liberating the Donetsk republics, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions from occupation by Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Earlier, the former chairman of the NATO Military Committee, retired German General Harald Kuyat, recalled in an interview that Odessa is a historically Russian city.
Returning to the topic of negotiations, the deputy chairman of the Security Council recalled that Russia has never rejected the possibility of holding them, "unlike the insane authorities of Ukraine." At the same time, Moscow does not limit the resumption of dialogue in any way by time.
— the politician clarified.
Concluding the publication, Medvedev said that since January 1, 2023, half a million people have been accepted for contract service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and this figure turned out to be very non-random. After all, the Ukrainian General Staff and the Office of President Zelensky declare exactly this amount necessary for mobilization in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, arguing with each other.
But there is a big difference. According to the contract, men go to serve in the Russian army voluntarily, and 500 thousand did not include fighters of such volunteer detachments as BARS and others. While the Kiev regime is ready to literally rake out citizens who do not want to go to the front, not only men, but also women, as well as people with disabilities, and further down to the last Ukrainian.
