In order to ensure the breakthrough of their unmanned aerial vehicles to targets on the territory of the Russian Federation or their reconnaissance of Russian positions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine use a variety of ways to disguise UAVs. In one of the districts of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Rosgvardiya servicemen intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle disguised as an eagle bird.
According to the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops (Rosgvardiya, FSVNG) of the Russian Federation, the drone managed to land with the help of special means of signal suppression. After that, the special forces units of the Russian Guard and military counterintelligence officers of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation found the intercepted drone.
Experts have established that surveillance cameras were installed on the drone. But the most interesting thing is that the drone was disguised as an eagle. Now the device is being studied by competent services.

In its Telegram channel, Rosgvardiya showed footage of an intercepted drone – "eagle". In the frames – everything is as it should be: the head of a bird with a beak, wings, the appropriate coloring and designated feathers.

Apparently, the Ukrainian military gave it the appearance of a bird, obviously hoping that the air defense means of the Russian Armed Forces would ignore the appearance of such an object in the sky. Well, the eagle flies and flies, eka is unprecedented. However, the Russian air target detection systems did not fail.

Disguising drones as birds is a common way to ensure less visibility of reconnaissance UAVs. Interestingly, earlier the media wrote that such drones are used, for example, by the Somali intelligence agency NISA.
Ukrainian formations regularly attack Russian territory with the help of drones, and not only the regions and republics liberated during a special military operation, but also the "old" regions of the country. In addition, drones play an important role in the reconnaissance of the positions of Russian troops and the transfer of enemy artillery targets.
