Under two contracts, the Poles purchased more than 500 HIMARS MLRS launchers in the United States, as well as 250 new Abrams M1A2 SEPv3 tanks. But due to the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine and the transfer of Soviet tanks to Kiev, Warsaw bought another 116 M1A1 Abrams tanks from the presence of the American army.
