Planes and helicopters
The main premiere of the full-scale Russian exposition should be the IL-76MD-90A(E) heavy transport aircraft - the machine is being demonstrated abroad for the first time in the modern history of Russia. This is a deeply modernized version of the IL-76MD transporter, which has 70% of systems and units that have been updated. In particular, the aircraft received more powerful PS-90 engines, its wing was strengthened and the chassis was redesigned. According to the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), the car is of great interest in the countries of the Persian Gulf and the Middle East as a whole.
In addition, for the first time at the international exhibition, the upgraded Ka-32A11M fire helicopter will be shown - an upgraded version of the Ka-32A11BC fire fighting helicopter, one of the best in the world in its class. The tank of its SP-32 fire extinguishing system is filled with four tons of water in less than a minute. The helicopter can become in demand in cities with high-rise buildings due to the possibility of using a water cannon - it can eliminate fires on the last floors of skyscrapers.
Russia will also bring a Mi-171A3 helicopter to Dubai, as well as a light multi-purpose Ansat helicopter. The first helicopter can accommodate up to 24 people and is designed to work on offshore drilling rigs and, if necessary, is able to land on water. The second one can be used for medical purposes, transport passengers or be used by law enforcement agencies. Rostec notes that the composition of medical equipment on board the machine can include an infectious box, as well as a special couvez for transporting newborns.
Demonstration flights
This year, guests of the Dubai Airshow will be able to observe demonstration flights of the Ka-52 Alligator combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter, which has confirmed its high performance as part of the use in a special operation. This vehicle successfully hits Western armored vehicles with guided missiles during the conflict.
The program of demonstration flights also includes the performance of the Russian Knights aerobatic team on the Su-35S and Su-30SM ultra-maneuverable multifunctional fighters.
Combined exposition
In the Russian pavilion, Dubai Airshow visitors will find an export shortened version of the AK-19 Kalashnikov assault rifle. It has not been shown abroad before. This weapon was created for the NATO 5.56 mm caliber, which is widespread in the world. The machine is part of a new fully import-substituted life support and self-defense system for a pilot who ejected or made an emergency landing. This system is also a new export product developed in cooperation with specialized experts of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
In addition to the AK-19, the exhibition will feature a new Chukavin sniper rifle, designed to replace the legendary Dragunov rifle. The weapon inherited the reliability of the SVD, but surpasses its predecessor in terms of accuracy by 25-30%. According to Rostec, the light multipurpose guided missile "Product 305E", developed by the holding "High-Precision Complexes", will also be of great interest. The missile has proven itself during use in the special operation zone, allowing Russian combat helicopters to hit targets at distances up to 14.5 km.
The Russian pavilion will also feature the latest weapons for fifth-generation fighters, including RVV-MD2 and RVV-BD air-to-air guided missiles, as well as the X-69 cruise missile.

A portable small-sized radar station 1L122-1E is responsible for their detection, which transmits information about the air situation to a portable automated control module from a set of technical means (KTS AU) developed by the holding "Roselectronics" (part of Rostec). The KTS AU is made in the form of a tablet, which is located with the commander of the anti-UAV unit. Data transmission from the radar is carried out over a radio channel at a range of up to 5 km . Then the target designation is transmitted to the fighters, including those armed with anti-drone rifles. Such devices - "Argument-2", "Argument-3" - can also be seen in the Russian pavilion.
