The Western anti-aircraft system proved ineffective in protecting objects in Odessa and Nikolaev
During November 4-6, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation consistently inflicted several massive strikes on military facilities in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions. The places of concentration of Ukrainian troops, warehouses with weapons, military equipment and ammunition were hit. For the first time, the Ukrainian air defense system used HAWK anti-aircraft systems supplied from Spain to repel Russian air attacks, but they proved ineffective. Such strikes seriously reduce the activity of the enemy on the line of combat contact, in some areas he has already switched to defense, experts explain.
Attacks on the port of Odessa
A warehouse of aviation weapons was destroyed at the Dnipro airfield in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and military aviation equipment was parked in the Mirgorod of the Poltava region, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on November 6. In addition, in the Priluk area of the Chernihiv region, an arsenal of VFU missile weapons and ammunition was hit. In the area of Serebryanka in the DPR, the command and observation post of the unit of the 67th mechanized brigade of the VFU was destroyed.

According to the interlocutors, the most massive blow fell on the night of November 6. With the help of attack drones, as well as operational and tactical air-based missiles, several objects near the Odessa port and industrial zones were hit. In the port, the Ukrainian command tried to concentrate and disguise the stocks of new equipment, sources of Izvestia said.
At the same time, for the first time, Ukrainian air defense used HAWK anti-aircraft systems supplied by Spain to repel a Russian strike. The Hokies were mainly used to destroy Russian attack drones. According to the interlocutors of Izvestia, the novelty did not cope with its task and showed poor performance. Also, the sources of the publication noted that the Ukrainian mobile air defense group previously deployed in Odessa had left the city.

It is also necessary to destroy the enemy's air defenses in the near and far rear, this will allow our aviation to work more closely. But it is already obvious that in certain areas the enemy is now reducing activity, trying to go on the defensive.
Ukrainian attacks are repelled
Russian troops for three days continued to successfully repel the attacks of the VFU in Kupyansk, Krasnolimansk, Donetsk, Yuzhodonetsky and Zaporozhye directions, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on November 6.
In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Western Group of Troops repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Timkovka, Sinkovka and Zagoruikovka of the Kharkiv region.
Also, the troops of three brigades of the VFU and the theroborona brigade in the areas of Ivanovka, Zagoruikovka, Kislovka and Dvurechnaya Kharkiv region were hit by fire.

In the Krasnolimansk direction, units of the Center group of troops repelled three enemy attacks in the area of Novoselovka and Grigorovka in the DPR, defeated the personnel and equipment of four VFU brigades in the areas of Chervona Dibrova, Rozovka and Petrovsky in the LPR.
In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Group of troops repelled three enemy attacks and defeated the troops and equipment of the VFU in the areas of Kurdyumovka, Andreevka, Razdolovka, Vasyukovka, Krasny and Kleshcheyevka in the DPR.
In the South Donets direction, units of the Vostok group of troops repelled three enemy attacks and inflicted fire damage on two brigades in the areas of Novomikhailovka, Sladky and Staromayorsky. In the area of Ugledar in the DPR, fire damage was inflicted on the personnel of the 72nd mechanical brigade of the VFU.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Russian group of troops repulsed nine attacks of three VFU brigades in the area of Workino, and also inflicted fire damage to units of two mechanized and amphibious assault brigades of the VFU in the areas of Stepovoye, Workino and Verbovoye.

One enemy attack was repelled in the Kherson direction. Five attempts to land the enemy on the left bank of the Dnieper were prevented, and units of two naval infantry brigades of the VFU were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Krynki, Veseloye, Kherson region and Alekseevsky Island.
Accurate hit in the opponent's support
Russian servicemen of the 163rd Tank Regiment told Izvestia military correspondent Isabella Lieberman about their service in the special operation zone.
Having received the target, the tankers leave for the firing position. The enemy's stronghold is hit from the first shot. According to the fighters, they mostly hit with direct fire, and sometimes they go several hundred meters into the rear of the armed formations of Ukraine.

This tank regiment is served by mobilized soldiers, career officers and contract service servicemen. Tankers work in conjunction with UAV operators, without whose control there is not a single movement of Ukrainian militants in Marinka.
The platoon commander with the call sign Ekat in his 27 is already a knight of the Order of Courage, there are medals "For Bravery". Participates in the special operation from the very beginning. He said that the first fight was the most difficult and remained forever in his memory.
73 enemy UAVs were destroyed
In three days — from November 4 to November 6 — in the special operation zone, Russian troops destroyed up to 2020 militants and 126 pieces of equipment, including tanks, howitzers, self-propelled guns and armored vehicles.
Russian air defense systems shot down 11 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, 13 Storm Shadow and Neptune cruise and anti-ship missiles. In addition, 73 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed.
