During the recent NATO naval exercises off the coast of Portugal, BAE Systems demonstrated the capabilities of its new unmanned UAS system based on the Malloy Aeronautics T-600 UAV, which launched a training anti-submarine torpedo.
The T-600 is a large electric drone the size of a small car. It is easily disassembled, which is very convenient for transportation, it is able to carry cargo weighing up to 200 kg and travel up to 80 km by air, developing a speed of up to 140 km /h.

The highlight of the demonstration shows of the drone's capabilities was the dropping of a training anti-submarine torpedo Sting Ray, which no one in the world had done before. In addition to performing the function of an attack drone, the T-600 can be used to transport small loads and evacuate victims. After the end of the tests, BAE Systems intends to create a more powerful UAV based on the T-600, the T—650, to perform not only military, but also commercial and humanitarian missions.
