During the exhausted Ukrainian "counteroffensive", the AFU continues to suffer losses in various armored vehicles. Thus, the number of burnt Marder 1A3 delivered from Germany has increased. Photos of one of them have been published on social networks.
As the Russian Weapons project notes, despite the reinforced armor protection and modern fire-fighting equipment during modernization, this tracked vehicle for transporting personnel received significant damage: for example, aluminum parts completely melted.
As a result, even if the neo-Nazi militants manage to evacuate Marder to the rear, it will not be possible to restore it in Ukraine.

It is known that the damaged Leopard 2A4/A6 main battle tanks are being resuscitated at an enterprise located in Poland, but such armored vehicles will have to be exported directly to Germany.
Considering that the military industry of the latter cannot cope even with the repair of equipment that was in storage, such damaged IFVs will not be able to return to the line of combat contact for a very long time, unless, of course, they are finally written off for scrap.
