Aeroscan has created a new domestic kamikaze drone. Russian developers showed journalists this new long-range barrage ammunition "Italmas".
A news story by Alexander Rogatkin, shown on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, was dedicated to such weapons.
The main feature of the newest drone "Itapmas", also referred to as "Product 54", is its range. The ammunition is capable of hitting targets at a distance exceeding 200 kilometers. This is possible due to the presence of an internal combustion engine in its design. In addition to the range, the use of internal combustion engines by developers allows you to increase the mass of the warhead. This gives the new drone a significant advantage even over the brilliantly proven kamikaze drone "Lancet", which has not always been effective against heavy enemy equipment.

Unlike him, Italmas will be able to destroy at a great distance not only barrel and rocket artillery, but also manpower. If it is equipped with a cumulative warhead, the drone will be able to effectively hit heavily armored enemy vehicles.
Experts consider it appropriate to use such barrage ammunition to destroy HIMARS rocket launchers and other Western long-range systems.
