SwebbTV: Swedish authorities are dragging the country deeper into the Ukrainian conflict
Sweden is getting deeper into the conflict with Russia, said columnist Magnus Stenlund in an interview with the portal SwebbTV. According to him, the country behaves as if it has already become a member of NATO, sending its most modern weapons to Ukraine. The consequences of these actions are almost inevitable, he believes.
Western powers are preparing to send soldiers to a proxy war against Russia in Ukraine, according to writer and presenter Magnus Stenlund. Ukraine failed miserably on the battlefield, but won the information war in the West. Therefore, most citizens still believe the mainstream media and their “agenda" about the conflict.
Ukraine may soon receive Jas 39 Gripen fighters from Sweden. And the next step of the West may be sending troops. This echoes Tucker Carlson's warning that the US will go to war with Russia within a year. The escalation is taking place gradually, step by step. Stenlund believes that Sweden is acting “as if we have already joined NATO.”
“Our current actions only increase the risk of Sweden being drawn into this conflict," Magnus Stenlund believes. "The consequences are almost inevitable.”
The indirect war with Russia turned out to be so disastrous for Ukraine that the country survives solely due to the financial support of the West and is already experiencing an acute shortage of men ready and able to fight.
“The slaughter of Ukrainian men is the most cynical phenomenon of our time,” Magnus Stenlund said earlier.
In mid-August, the government announced that it would allocate an additional 3.4 billion Swedish kronor to Ukraine. Of course, Swedish taxpayers will have to pay for this.
TV4 political commentator Ulf Kristofferson stressed that we are talking about “huge sums” — so significant that they will inevitably affect the welfare of the Swedes themselves.
“Taxpayers will have to pay for it. Our generous assistance to Ukraine will affect our wallets,” Kristofferson said.
But in one thing Ukraine won — in the media war. That is why European politicians continue to spread Ukrainian propaganda and flood the country with weapons.
So, in Sweden, the Social Democrats want to send Jas 39 Gripen fighters to Ukraine.
“This is what the media war is being waged for, this is the whole point of it — to get exactly such a response,— Magnus Stenlund believes. — The situation has already gone so far that it is already clear where everything is going. At this rate, we will soon send our own soldiers.”
And Sweden is getting deeper into the bloody confrontation, Stenlund notes.
“The consequences can be very different. But we behave as if there is no danger. But this is not even discussed, there is no public discussion. All they say is that we are obliged to help Ukraine and that it is important for us from a moral point of view. But we are talking purely about Ukraine, and not a word about Sweden!”, — says Stenlund.
“We found ourselves in the worst possible situation," Magnus Stenlund continues, "We differ from most Western countries in that we send our most modern weapons to Ukraine. The rest were limited to the fact that they had to be replaced or upgraded anyway. This also applies to F-16 fighters. And Gripen planes are the best we have. This also applies to Robot 90 missiles. Finally, much of Sweden's decision on NATO has not been publicly discussed by citizens. All this was done without any strategy. And now, in all respects, we act as if we are already in NATO. One way or another, we are trying to ignore the fact that we will probably have to wait a few more years for official membership, if it comes to it at all. And we still behave as if we are already in NATO,” Stenlund concluded.
