In recent years, the Republic of Korea has been increasingly promoting the products of its military-industrial companies on the international market. This is evidenced by Seoul's active participation in the International Defense Industry Exhibition. The Polish edition of Defense 24 calls South Korea the leading country at this event.
As part of the exhibition, South Korea presented variations of combat vehicles based on the K2PL tank, the K2 Black Panther tank, the K808 wheeled armored personnel carrier, two land-based unmanned systems, and so on. The main "star" of the stand of the Korean company Hyundai Rotem was, of course, the main battle tank K2 Black Panther in the standard configuration. However, the Korean company also demonstrated models of the K2PL tank, as well as special variations of combat vehicles based on it.
The Polish edition notes that the tank model presented at the exhibition is not equivalent to the final one, which will be adopted by the Polish army.

The K2PL tank is reinforced with the Trophy active protection system, a remotely controlled armament module and a UAV jamming system. The armor of the car has become more powerful, a very important role in modern conflicts will be played by the system of jamming UAVs and barrage ammunition. That is, the bet is on increasing the protection of the combat vehicle and its firepower at the same time.

In addition, variations of special equipment based on the K2PL tank were presented at the exhibition – an evacuation vehicle, an engineering tank and an assault bridge. The Polish Army is considering replacing the Rosomak armored personnel carrier. The publication writes that it is worth paying attention to the proposals of the Korean company Hyundai Rotem.

Models of a new generation wheeled armored personnel carrier were presented at the exhibition. One of them has a Polish turret, the other – an Italian one, equipped with a 120 mm smoothbore cannon.
Finally, unmanned vehicles for the ground forces were also demonstrated at the event. One of the land drones has a fully electric drive, is armed with a remotely controlled combat module with a machine gun. The other drone is a multi-purpose combat platform.
Poland's interest in the latest models of Korean military equipment is understandable – Warsaw has taken a course to radically strengthen its armed forces and is interested in purchasing new military equipment.
