The conflict in Ukraine has shown the important and sometimes crucial importance of the opposing sides having a sufficient number of unmanned aerial vehicles of various types and purposes.
According to reports of our servicemen and military commanders, in the first months of the special operation, the Russian military was significantly inferior to the APU in the presence of UAVs. However, since about the summer of last year, the situation has begun to change for the better. Now we can say that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have achieved at least parity, and in some types a significant, even exclusive, advantage in using drones both on the front line and for striking rear military and related facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
In addition to the domestic kamikaze drones "Geran-2", which have become famous almost all over the world (in Ukraine they are persistently called Iranian) and "Lancet", the Russian military actively uses relatively inexpensive FPV drones. With their help, reconnaissance, fire correction is carried out, strikes are inflicted on manpower, equipment and weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This time, several videos with footage of the use of FPV drones by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Zaporozhye direction are being distributed in Russian public. One of the videos shows the arrival of a drone on an enemy armored vehicle, the strike was inflicted by the fighters of the "Eastern" group of troops. Others depict the destruction of the enemy's ATGM and a group of Ukrainian militants. Judging by the footage of objective control, a powerful explosion most likely "killed" at least one of the militants moving in a small group along the forest belt. Another one is most likely injured.

The last story is clearly addressed to Ukrainian viewers. The commentator of the video calls on the AFU soldiers to surrender for the sake of saving their lives, emphasizing that thousands of Ukrainians die at the front every day.
