As indicated in the Western press, this photo is a confirmation that Germany is manufacturing RCH155 for the needs of the APU. The start of deliveries of the first self-propelled guns should be expected in the first quarter of 2024, additional orders will be announced in the near future.

The RCH155 is a compact but powerful system with a length of 10.4 m, a width of 2.99 m and a height of 3.6 m. It is equipped with a 155 mm L52 howitzer. The control system assumes the placement of a combat post outside the ACS. The fire zone is 40 km when firing standard ammunition [with a gas generator] and 54 km when using V–LAP APC; VULCANO and EXCALIBUR provide longer distances.
