Back in mid-July of this year, it became known that the specialists of the Russian S7 Group began to create a domestic training aircraft, which is so lacking in the country — it was named S7 Tango.
Earlier it was reported that the aircraft will be officially presented to the public this fall, and now there are some details about the S7 Tango, as well as its design image and several photos from the workshops where it is assembled.

It should be noted that the S7 Tango, whose take-off weight reaches 1150 kg, has a rather beautiful and modern appearance, and its flight range is about 1100 km. According to the source, only a few percent of imported components are in the S7 Tango — apparently, we are talking about an air propeller. It is already known that the S7 Tango is designed to accommodate four people — a commander with a co-pilot or an instructor with an intern, as well as two passengers. The airframe is composite, and the engine, which has six cylinders, is the company's own development.

Judging by the published pictures, the assembly of the first sample of the S7 Tango is close to completion, which means that in the fall the S7 Group can demonstrate a full-size pre-production sample, and not only show beautiful renderings.
